Where to use this effect

Footsteps, running and sliding on dry surfaces.

Use a small low puff at each foot contact. Keep opacity modest; repeated footsteps quickly accumulate too much visual noise.

Shape the effect

Start with height 0.6 and spread 0.6. These control the web composition, not game collision or damage volumes.

  1. Check the silhouette from your gameplay camera before increasing particle detail.
  2. Tune Motion speed and Turbulence, then compare light and dark backgrounds with the Scene panel.
  3. Adjust Core and Edge, open the editor and save your own project. The library original stays unchanged.

Give this effect to an agent

The public URL describes this preset; it does not grant access to your projects. Create an Agent link in a saved project for collaboration. The agent can read the current schema, control ranges and revision-safe update instructions.

Sound and Unity transfer

Unity Art beta transfers the procedural layers through .vfxart: install importer 0.6.0, add the file to Assets and drag the effect into your scene. It contains mesh ParticleSystems, materials and a motion controller. Reference frames are tested in Unity 6.3 Built-in Gamma. Models, uploaded sprites, audio and other pipelines are not covered yet. The separate .vfxnative format handles native modules and a sprite.

You can import a WAV or prepare a sound layer using the editor's available tools. Automatic neural sound generation from this URL is not connected yet. Test triggers, damage logic, weapon attachment and audio timing in the target game.
