50 game effects: why these use cases

Selection method

We reviewed categories and pack contents on Unity Asset Store and Fab. A use case appearing on both marketplaces is a demand proxy, not a customer count. Reviews and favorites apply to a whole pack, not an individual effect.

We prioritized frequent gameplay events: firing, impacts, explosions, movement and player feedback. Magic, environment and weather loops add genre coverage. Ordering within these groups is editorial judgment; monthly Google Ads volumes were not measured.

What the sources support

Unity highlights water, fire, toon and magic as popular VFX directions. Fab lists dedicated weapon, blood, slash, shield and smoke packs. Shots VFX illustrates the practical distinction between muzzle flashes and material-specific impacts.

Weather and fog have dedicated offerings on Fab. Unity's top-selling roundup is historical evidence of interest in VFX tooling, not a current effect-by-effect ranking.

Library coverage

Each item opens as a live editable preset with its own page and machine-readable API. Technical building blocks are reused; visual quality and suitability still need to be evaluated in motion.

How to test actual demand

Compare organic search impressions and clicks by page and query group, then editor opens and saved projects. Keep paid ad clicks separate from organic traffic. Before enough observations accumulate, neither profitability nor a traffic volume can be promised.

Descriptions, keyword topics, canonicals, language alternates and sitemaps derive from one published catalog. Private projects and keyed links are excluded. Sitemaps help discovery but cannot guarantee indexing; Google does not use meta keywords for ranking.
